Title: Everyone can piss off
I'm in a really damn pissy mood tonight, and I don't know why. Probably has something to do with the fact that it's Saturday and I'm at work, AFA is being stupid yet AGAIN... AND I've been playing go-between for a pissed-off luser and a pissed-off tech who obviously doesn't want to be on call this weekend. Bah. Let's play a game of toss-the-pager. Better yet, a game of toss-the-tech.
I got a cell phone again. That's about all that's new in my ever so exciting life. Oh, and I FINALLY got Majordomo working again on snerk. Woo! Now I can get my update list going. I have this list with all my friends and family's e-mail addresses that I mail whenever something major goes down in my life. (This is the list that Ian will send mail to if I die or something, so if you're not on it and you want to be, mail me.) I'm seriously thinking about making separate Majordomo configurations for each of the domains I own, but that's going to be a long, tedious process, so maybe tomorrow.
Ian got me my birthday present a little early: a nice fast CPU for my box at home. I'm now running a Celeron 366 MHz with 128 MB RAM. Mmmm... yummy. The only drawback is I'm still on a 1 GB hard drive, but that's no big deal. I'm going to hang all the home directories off another box Real Soon Now anyway, so my hard drive space will be irrelevant. Hmmmm... I'm having Evil Geek Thoughts(tm) now. Whee.
I've determined I'm going to name my network at home on a User Friendly theme. My box is going to be pitr.nerdherd.net. Because, dammit, Pitr is a BOFH. "God... root... what is difference?" Heh heh heh.
You know what? The world can piss off. Yeah. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. As Amy would say, "You know what? FUCK 'EM!"
