Title: Let it snoooooow
Random link o' the day: An extensive
collection of Bound pictures I picked up
Autumn is officially here. It snowed last night and into the morning... there is a dusting of the white stuff on the ground right now. I love it. And check out the five day forecast for the Denver area. HArHARHARHARHARhAHRAHrAHRAHRARHAR
*ahem* All better now. I'm enjoying myself, or can you tell? I love autumn, and I love winter. If it never got above about fifty degrees (Farenheit), I would be perfectly happy. There's a reason I worked night shift for two years: I hate the sun. Goose and I both share a deep and intense dislike for sunshine and bright, cheery weather. Bleah. I like it much better when it's overcast and gloomy... it puts me a good mood. Is that weird? Probably, but I don't care. Cold weather rocks my world. The darker, colder and snowier the better.
I probably should note here that a Caribbean cruise is not an ideal gift for my birthday.
In preparation for winter, the boy and I went to Target (pronounced "Tar-zhay") last night and got some new sheets. The old ones had been in use constantly since we got married in 1997 (wink wink, nudge nudge, etc. etc.) and they're worn threadbare. The new ones are a nice green and white tartan and they're FUZZZZZZZYYYYYY. Holy shit, do I sound like my husband there. Save me. (Just kidding, dear.)
Ever gone out to get coat hangers and paper towels and come back with eighty bucks worth of stuff? I have. Guess when. Heh. I hate it when that happens. Oh well.
Aaaaaaannnd in other news, Bill will be leaving Hellhole, MS, tomorrow and arriving some time Thursday evening. He's going to rent our extra room and help the boy wire the house with Cat 5 cable. The geek pad continues to grow. Rumor has it he's bringing rum, so he is, naturally, welcomed with open arms in my house. :)
And now I must go play in the snow. Later.
