Cynthia and I are now officially big ol' dykes: we own a cat together.
You all can stop laughing now. I hear you out there. Actually, it was Cynthia's idea, believe it or not. We went over to the Humane Society of Boulder County over the weekend to look at the dogs. Cynthia misses puppies. Little did we know we'd end up falling in love with a pretty calico kitty named Shiva. She took to Cynthia almost immediately and is now ensconced in the extra room with a new litterbox and a bowl of cat food. As soon as we get a camera, we'll post pictures.
